Q: If an employee remains enrolled in labor insurance and employment insurance during unpaid parental leave for their first child, are they eligible to apply for parental leave benefits for a second child born during that period?
A: Yes.

Q: During a period of unpaid parental leave, can an individual continue to receive parental leave benefits if they concurrently serve as the responsible person of another entity?
A: No.

Q: During a period of unpaid parental leave, can an individual continue to receive parental leave benefits if they concurrently serve as the responsible person of another entity?
A: No.

Q: If a responsible person has more than one year of labor insurance coverage, are they eligible to apply for parental leave benefits?
A: No. Responsible persons are not covered under employment insurance and are therefore not eligible to claim such benefits.

Q: If a child reaches the age of three during the period of receiving parental leave benefits, can the benefits continue to be claimed?
A: No.
