A: The "Regulations on Promoting and Regulating the Application of Electronic Documents" was approved at the 4th meeting of the Office of the State Internet Information Office on February 10, 2026. It has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Commerce, the People's Bank of China, the General Administration of Customs, the State Taxation Administration, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Financial Supervisory Commission. It will come into effect on September 1, 2026.
