Q: What conditions must parents or grandparents meet to claim survivor pension benefits?
A: Parents or grandparents are eligible if they are at least 55 years old, and their current monthly work income does not exceed the minimum wage.

Q: If parents or grandparents meet the eligibility requirements, under what circumstances will survivor pension payments be stopped?
A: Survivor pension payments will also be discontinued if the parents or grandparents:
1. Is imprisoned
2. Goes missing
3. Passes away.

Q: Is there an age limit for siblings to claim survivor pension benefits?
A: The siblings must have been “dependent on the insured person”, and they must either be minors, or be at least 55 years old with a monthly work income not exceeding the minimum wage.

Q: Can siblings with a severe physical or mental disability certificate claim survivor pension benefits?
A: Yes. However, the siblings must have been “dependent on the insured person”, and they must not be engaged in actual employment or participating in related social insurance programs.

Q: If siblings meet the eligibility requirements, under what circumstances will survivor pension payments be stopped?
A: Survivor pension payments will also be discontinued if the siblings:
