Collective Trademark

Collective trademark refers to a trade mark or service mark registered by an industrial or commercial group, association or other collective organization and used by members of the collective organization. It is used to distinguish the goods or services of the members of the organization that owns the mark, it may be a logo, word, symbol, picture or combinations of the above.

Certification Trademark

A certification mark is a trade mark or service mark used on goods or services by someone other than an organization with the ability to test and supervise such goods or services to certify the origin, materials, manufacturing process, quality, precision or other specific qualities of such goods and services.
Certification trademarks are important for companies who want to prove the quality of their products. Trade associations and centralized business groups are the most common owners of these marks. To obtain the right to use a certification mark, a company's goods must meet a certain standard. Similarity of collective trademark and certification trademark

Difference between certification trademark and collective trademark
