A:
The addition of Article 22-1 to the Company Law aims to align with the anti-money laundering policies, assist in establishing a comprehensive anti-money laundering system, and strengthen anti-money laundering measures, thereby increasing the transparency of legal entities (company).

How is the online shareholder declaration processed?
A:
Companies must first verify their identity and sign up for an account / password on the platform to declare information online. Then, they must transmit electronic documents in accordance with the prescribed software, format, types, and methods.

Q:
When does the annual declaration for companies begin?
A:
The annual declaration can be made to the information platform from March 1st to March 31st every year.

Q:
Can companies have someone else to handle their shareholder declaration? Are there any qualifications required?
A: Companies can either make their declaration online by themselves or entrust someone else to do it.

Q:
Does foreign companies need to do the shareholder declaration?
A: Foreign companies do not need to declare.
