Is there minimum amount of capital for Taiwan company limited?

No, there is on minimum amount of capital, but it is suggested that the set-up amount of capital shall be sufficient to cover the expenditures for the initial stage of company operation.

Is there two types of authorized capital and paid-up capital for Taiwan company limited?
A:
No, there is one type of paid-up capital for Taiwan company limited.

Is it possible to set up the paid-up capital and authorized capital differently?
A:
Yes, it is possible. The authorized capital is the amount of capital stated at the article of association and the paid-up capital is the amount of capital received practically, which is applied to a company limited by shares. In contrast, the type of capital for limited company is paid-up capital solely.

In the condition of increase of capital, is it possible to set up the authorized capital in TWD5,000,000 and the paid-up capital in TWD1,000,000?
A: In the circumstance that the organization of company in limited company by shares, this method works, but it is not applicable for limited company.
