When a foreigner is hired to work in Taiwan, what are the requirements for academic qualifications and working experience?
A:
Foreigners who are hired to engage in specialized technical jobs must meet one of the following requirements:
Obtain certificate or practice qualification in accordance with the Professionals and Technologists Examinations Act.
Obtain a master’s degree or above from relative major or faculty or obtain a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years relevant working experience.
International enterprises internal transfer to Taiwan after serving at least 1 year.
Those who have more than 5 years of relevant experience, with professional training or self-study, and have great originality and performance.

Can the part-time work experience as a student be listed when applying for a work permit?
A:
No.

Q:
How should foreign professionals change employers?
A:
After the former employer has completed the procedures for revoking the employment permit with the Ministry of Labor, the new employer can submit the new employment permit accordingly, or the new employer can submit the application and attach with the resignation proof of the foreigner.
