Singapore IRAS Digital Notices

From May 2021, most IRAS notices will be digitised, with paper notices minimised. Company and individual must ensure their contact details are up-to-date in order to receive timely notifications.

Q: What is the benefits of digital communication?
A: Following is the benefits of digitised notices;
1. Convenient and Fast Access – Convenient and instant access of notices, anytime, anywhere.
2. Timely Notifications – Receive prompt email notifications when new notices/letters are available.
3. Easy Management – View up to 3 years’ of past notices.
4. Safe and Secure – Only persons authorised can access IRAS’ notices in myTax Portal, a safe and secured platform.

Q: Will I be able to view my past notices online prior to my subscription to SMS/email notifications?
A: Yes, you will be able to view your past notices of up to 3 back years in the ‘Notices/ Letters’ digital service.

Q: Can the notifications to be sent to someone else?
A: For individual, notification only will send to registered mobile number/email address.
For corporate, Corppass - authorized ‘Approvers’ of the company/ business can update up to four email recipients per tax type.

Q: Can I revert to paper notices and do not want to receive email/SMS notification?
A: Who which to revert to paper notices, you can update your notification preferences via the “Update Notice Preferences” digital service. You only can receive either paper noticed OR digital notices.
