Q: How to get a House Provident Fund Co-Branded card?
A: According to Shenzhen House Provident Fund Payment Management Regulation, Article 30, after the HFP account set up, the fund collection bank shall make a HPF co-branded card for the employee without charge. The HPF account shall be free from annual fee or small amount accounts management fee. Meantime, the bank should also notify the responsible person of HPF matters from the company of card owner for collection. The responsible person shall then notify the card owner within 10 days.

Q:
Is there any special requirement for the annual fee and account management fee for HPF co-branded card?
A:
For employees who have class I account at the collecting bank, they shall have the HPF card link to the existing class I account, according to Notice on enhancing payment management in preventing online fraud by People’s Bank of China. The class I account can then be used for HPF business.
After linking the class I account with HPF account, the annual fee and small amount account management fee for HPF account will be applicable at the same rate as a class I account.

What is the use of HPF co-branded card?
A:
Every time HPF card owners wish to check their personal information or deal with HPF related matters, they would need to bring their HPF co-branded card.

Q:
How to reset password for HPF co-branded card?
A:
For card holders who forgot the passwords, they shall bring the card and ID to the counter or self-service machine at the servicing hall. Then claim password forgotten and do the reset accordingly.
For employees forgot the password for the savings account, they should claim password forgotten with accordance to the regulation of the bank, then reset password accordingly.

Q:
How to replace a lost HPF co-branded card?
A:
For HPF co-branded card that is lost, stolen or damaged and need replacement, the owner can file the replacement procedure at any branches of the co-branded bank.
For replacing with the same card number, they only need to replace the card, no need to re-link bank account with the new HPF account.
For replacing with a different card number, the new card should be re-link to the HPF account. Owners can do the linking on Alipay App, by go to “city service” model, then click “HPF service”.
