After the return of Hong Kong and Macao, especially the acceleration of the national strategy of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the number of Hong Kong and Macao residents travelling to and from the Mainland for entrepreneurship, work, study, and life continues to increase. From October 10, 2020, Hong Kong and Macao residents can apply for replacement of the Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents in the Mainland.
