Q: In what circumstances would the MOEACA ID Card invalid?
A: The MOEACA ID Card is expired.
The Certificate Authority would deactivate all valid MOEACA ID Card of company or business entity in the following circumstances:

Change of company/ branch/ business entity name.

Change of Taiwan Company Tax ID No. of company/ branch/ business entity.

Dissolution or bankruptcy registered of a company.

Revocation of branch.

Withdrawal of approval of foreign company.

Business entity revoke registration (go out of business).

False content of ID Card (e.g. error in registered address due to relocation of business).
Unable to login due to incomplete set up of computer for the system.

A:
Ministry of Economic Affairs Certificate Authority.

Q:
What should I do if my MOEACA ID Card is probably lost or cannot be found temporary?
A:
If your MOEACA ID Card is probably lost or stolen, and determine to stop the usage of it, you may enter to the homepage of MOEACA and select the function of “Certificate Suspension and Resumption” to suspend the usage of the card by filling in MOEACA ID Card no. and user code online.

How to find out if a company or business entity obtained a MOEACA ID Card or not?
A:
The record can be check by entering company’s Taiwan Tax ID in MOEACA official website.

Q:
Is there a fee for applying a MOEACA ID Card? How much does it cost?
A:
The cost of a MOEACA ID Card is NTD $420, whether “primary card”, “secondary card” or “non-IC card” of company, branch or business entity. Also, there would be a cost of NTD $420 for applying a new card due to lost or damage, after deactivation of the old one.
