Q:
How is the employees’ compensation define in the Articles of Association of Taiwan Company?
A:
A ratio or fixed amount of profit of the current year distributed as employees’ compensation shall specify in the Articles of Association. The ratio is feasible to set as follow three methods, such as 2%, certain interval such as 2%, or set a lower limited (for example, more than 2%, not less than 2%).

Q:
Does the Director of Taiwan Company have a term of service?
A:
The term of service is not defined in the Taiwan Company Act. Therefore, the term of services is not limited.

Q:
Does the Taiwan Company has the provision to pay the salary to the director?
A:
No, however, the company could decide internally and mentioned in the Articles of Association.

Q:
After the preliminary check of the company name is completed, is that possible to change the company name?
A:
Yes, but the name decided to change will need to apply a preliminary check, it can only be used after approval.

Q:
After the name of the company is preliminary checked, is there a time limit for the name approved?
A:
Yes, the name approved will be retained for 6 months. If the company has not registered when the name approved is about to expire, the company will need to extend of the term of the company name.
