A:
Foreigners and citizens of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan can apply for Beijing's endowment insurance through online application and on-site application.

What channels are there for online application?
A:
Online application can be applied by three ways, including "Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau" APP, the WeChat official account of "Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau", and the official website of Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.

Q:
What materials are required for online application?
A:
The insured needs to supplement information and upload valid ID card. Foreigners also need to upload the Registration Form of Temporary Accommodation issued by the public security department.

What materials are required for on-site application?
A: The insured needs to carry valid ID card and go to the nearest street and township government affairs center for insurance registration. Foreigners also need to carry the Registration Form of Temporary Accommodation issued by the public security department.

What does a valid ID card refer to?
A: The valid ID card refers to the Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card or Residence Permit for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Residents obtained in Beijing within the validity period.

Can Taiwan citizens apply online?

The Beijing Unified Identity Authentication Platform only supports real-name authentication for users who hold three types of ID card: Resident Identity Card of the People's Republic of China, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, and Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card. For the time being, Taiwan citizens can only handle via on-site application.
